Astrological planets

Planets in astrology have each of the psychological influences on human beings. The ephemeris used to know the exact position of the planets at any given time.

In astrology, there are 10 planets which are the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Each of these planets is an energy. Its action will be influenced by the sign or the house where she is.


The 10 planets differentiate into fast-moving planets and planets called slow.
The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars are called planets or personal fast. They are so named because they travel in a short time the zodiacal circle, allowing them to rapidly switch from one sign to another. The Sun and the Moon are the two planets that play the biggest role on the personality of an individual. They are called also Lighting, because they are the brightest in the solar system.

Downgrading of a planet indicates the passage of the planets for a few days or weeks anticlockwise before resuming its normal direction. Only the Sun and the Moon never retrograde. In astrology, it gives meaning to this demotion for personal planets say (Mercury, Venus and Mars).


The SunThe Sun
The Sun rules Leo, is in exaltation in Aries and its element is Fire. It is 365 days to traverse the zodiac signs and 30 days, knowing that a sign is 30 degrees. The Sun is in analogy with the heart.

It represents the masculine side of the personality such as father, husband, leader and Yang. The Sun tells us about the inner self of an individual, on its aspirations and its will. It is often present in the theme of a man, because it symbolizes all the male values.

The Sun tells us about activity, vitality, skill, determination, loyalty, generosity, honesty, firmness and authority, but also irritability and pride. In the theme of a woman, the Sun represents the father or the husband. When the Sun is in a positive position, it indicates a period of happiness and success.

The MoonThe Moon
The Moon rules Cancer, is in exaltation in Taurus and its element is water. It offers 28 days to cover the zodiac with a movement of about 12 degrees per day, making it the fastest planet. The Moon is in analogy with the stomach.

It represents the feminine side of the personality such as mother, wife and Yin. In this sense it is complementary to the Sun. The Moon tells us about passivity, unconscious, emotions, fertility, sensitivity, imagination, intelligence and family.

The Moon is important in the theme of a woman, because it embodies femininity. In the theme of a man, the Moon represents the mother or the wife. When the Moon is growing, it means the courage and the will to move forward, but when it is decreasing, the opposite applies.

mercuryMercury
Mercury rules Virgo and the Gemini, is in exaltation in Virgo and its element is Earth. It is 88 days to traverse the zodiac with a movement of about one degree per day. Mercury can downshift of 23 days per year. Similarly, it never deviates by more than two signs of the Sun. Mercury is in analogy with the arms, hands and nervous system.

It represents communication, intellectual capacities, exchanges, reason, common sense, pragmatism, speaking, writing and business acumen.

Mercury planet represents the brothers and sisters, intellectual friendships, traders and messengers. It promotes reason and sensibility. It does not value embodies masculine nor feminine value. Mercury also described as a nervous hand, dishonest and insensitive.

venusVenus
Venus rules Taurus and Libra, is in exaltation in the Pisces and its element is Air. It is 225 days to traverse the zodiac with a movement of about one degree per day. Venus is retrograde for 42 days per year. Similarly, Venus never strays more than two signs of the Sun. Venus is in analogy with the kidneys, the venous system and the neck.

Venus planet is the lover or the mistress who fantasize but that is not necessarily done for the common life. It embodies the artists, tradesmen, and those we love.

Venus is associated with beauty, gentleness, charm, love, appearance, sociability, benevolence and harmony. This world is focused on the pleasures that can make the individual lazy, materialistic and hedonistic.

marsMars
Mars rules Aries, is in exaltation with Capricorn and its element is Fire. It is 1 year and 220 days to cover the zodiac with a movement of half a degree per day. Mars can stay until 5 or 6 months in a sign and may downgrade of 73 days per year. This planet is in analogy with the muscles and the spleen.

In the theme, Mars represents the passing lovers, but also soldiers, athletes and doctors. March shows courage, drive, determination, action, the will to undertake and the ability to overcome obstacles. It embodies a masculine planet like the Sun.

Mars also represents despotism, violence, sexuality and the primary side of an individual. It symbolizes power, strength, initiative, enthusiasm and tyranny.

jupiterJupiter
Jupiter rules Sagittarius and the Pisces, is in exaltation with Cancer and its element is Air. This is the first slow planet. It is a year to cover a zodiac sign and almost 12 years to the zodiac. Jupiter may downgrade 121 days per year. Similarly, Jupiter is in analogy with the hips and the endocrine system.

In the theme, Jupiter represents the support in high places, protections, rulers and powerful men. This planet symbolizes optimism, hope, luck of the potential and ambition.

It also embodies the riches, honor, fame, success, but may tend to the claim and exaggeration. Individuals are dominated by Jupiter beings charismatic, enthusiastic and generous. Its position in the horoscope provides the support, the chance and opportunities to expand those horizons.

It also shows the ambition, maturity, endurance, practical sense, perseverance and sensitivity. However, because of its evil character, it may designate the bitterness, pessimism, cruelty and greed. Pluto can downshift to 162 days per year. Similarly, Pluto is in analogy with the sexual organs. In the theme, Pluto represents dictators, violent criminals and sadists.

This planet symbolizes the occult, sexuality, fertility, the afterlife, death, but also politics. Pluto also governs the perverse instincts, sexual anxieties and obsessions.
